Adding red soil nickel ore, Greenmet and China Enfe have reached a strategic partnership

In the context of complex geopolitical changes and the accelerated reconfiguration of global key mineral resource supply chains, in order to meet the needs of major national strategic development and address new global economic and trade challenges, closely following the tasks in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the country to strengthen energy and resource security guarantees and enhance the autonomy and controllability of the industrial chain, and in-depth implementing the deployment made in the government work report during the 2026 Two Sessions to accelerate high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and self-strengthening, as well as the development of industrial chains and supply chains and green and low-carbon development, Greengenmei is increasing its efforts in nickel resource development.

On March 8th, Greenmei issued a statement announcing that the company had recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Enfe Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Enfe"). The two parties will leverage their resource sharing and joint operations to promote innovation and sustainable development in the mining of nickel and other mineral resources, as well as in technological projects and R&D cooperation, and in the technical equipment fields of the upstream and downstream industries, in order to serve national strategic needs.

According to the agreement, both parties will leverage their respective advantages and carry out in-depth cooperation focusing on the comprehensive utilization of red soil nickel resources. They will jointly plan overseas red soil nickel industry projects, collaboratively promote engineering construction, resource development and industrial operation, and contribute to the establishment of a secure, stable and efficient global nickel and cobalt resource guarantee system for China, thereby enhancing the international competitiveness of China's new energy materials industrial chain.

In terms of technological equipment cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the industry, both parties will aim to enhance the independent control capability of the industrial chain and achieve the domestic substitution of key equipment. They will jointly promote the technological research and development, experimental verification, and large-scale application of core equipment in the red soil nickel ore and new energy materials fields. They will also jointly carry out the research and development, selection adaptation, and performance optimization of domestic equipment, and jointly build a safe, reliable, and independently controllable equipment system.

It is known that China Enfe is a technology-based, comprehensive and international engineering company that integrates applied basic research, technological development, high-end consulting, planning and design, engineering general contracting, and operation services. It is also the pioneer and leader in the high-pressure acid leaching (HPAL) technology for red soil nickel ores.

The announcement states that China Enfe holds the comprehensive Class A qualification for engineering design across the entire industry. It has been deeply involved in nine major fields including non-ferrous mines, metal smelting, new energy, and new materials. It has completed over 12,000 projects in more than 30 countries and regions, covering strategic resources such as copper, nickel, and cobalt. It plays a crucial role in the national strategic resource security guarantee system.

Greenmei stated that the cooperation between the two parties will provide solid support for safeguarding national strategic resource security and promoting high-quality development. Moreover, it will significantly enhance the company's engineering design capabilities for overseas nickel resource projects and its ability to allocate various resources, effectively ensuring the success of overseas nickel resource project construction and the stability of their operation and management. As a result, it will better facilitate the achievement of the expected goals of overseas project construction and operation.
