There are currently 52,600 lithium battery-related enterprises in our country. Nearly half of them have been established for more than 10 years.

The data shows that as of July 9th, there are 52,600 lithium battery-related enterprises in China. In terms of registration volume, 705 lithium battery-related enterprises will be registered throughout 2025. As of now, 352 enterprises have been registered this year.

From the perspective of operating duration, most lithium battery-related enterprises are mature companies. The proportion of enterprises with an establishment period of over 10 years is the highest, reaching 48.25%.

From the perspective of registered capital distribution, enterprises related to lithium batteries are mostly capital-intensive enterprises. The enterprises with registered capital ranging from 10 million yuan (inclusive) to 50 million yuan account for the highest proportion, reaching 27.86%; the enterprises with registered capital of 50 million yuan or more account for 23.48%, and the combined proportion of these two groups exceeds 50%.

From the perspective of regional distribution, enterprises located in the East China region account for as high as 41.74%, making it the area with the densest concentration of lithium battery-related enterprises. The South China region follows closely behind, accounting for 28.77%. The electronic information industry foundation and well-developed supply chain system in the Pearl River Delta have supported the rapid development of lithium battery enterprises. The combined proportion of these two regions exceeds 70%, forming a "East China + South China" dual-core pattern. The proportions of other regions are all less than 10%.
